Social Justice

Social justice is the concept of promoting a fair and equitable society by addressing issues of inequality, discrimination, and injustice. It emphasizes the need for individuals and groups to have equal access to rights, opportunities, and resources. Social justice seeks to challenge and rectify systemic barriers that disadvantage certain populations based on characteristics such as race, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and disability. The movement for social justice often advocates for policies and practices that foster inclusion, protect individual rights, and ensure that all community members can participate fully in societal benefits. The overarching goal is to create a society where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect, and can realize their potential without prejudice or hindrance.
