Hacking

Hacking refers to the practice of exploring and manipulating computer systems, networks, or software with the aim of understanding their workings or finding vulnerabilities. It can involve unauthorized access to data or systems (often referred to as “black hat” hacking) or ethical practices aimed at improving security (often referred to as “white hat” hacking). Hacking encompasses a range of activities, including the development and use of specific tools, techniques, and methodologies to exploit weaknesses in technology, circumvent security measures, or gain unauthorized access to information. While often associated with illegal activities, hacking can also play a vital role in cybersecurity by helping organizations identify and fix vulnerabilities before they can be exploited maliciously. The term can also refer more broadly to creative problem-solving or unconventional approaches in various fields beyond computing, such as hardware, software, and other technology applications.
