Canadian Soccer

Canadian Soccer refers to the sport of soccer (known as football in most other countries) as played in Canada. It encompasses all levels of play, from grassroots and amateur leagues to professional leagues and the national teams representing Canada in international competitions. Canadian Soccer is governed by the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA), which oversees the promotion, development, and organization of soccer throughout the country. The sport has been growing in popularity and participation across Canada, with an increasing number of players involved and the establishment of professional clubs, such as those in Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Canadian Premier League (CPL). Canadian Soccer also includes women’s soccer, which has enjoyed significant success, particularly with the Canadian women’s national team, which has competed in multiple FIFA Women’s World Cups and Olympic Games.
