Team Development

Team Development refers to the process through which a group of individuals comes together to enhance their collective skills, improve their working dynamics, and achieve specific goals. This process typically involves different stages, such as forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning, as described by Bruce Tuckman.

In the forming stage, team members get to know each other and establish ground rules. The storming stage involves conflicts and challenges as individuals express their opinions and assert their role within the team. Norming is characterized by the establishment of a cohesive team culture, mutual respect, and collaboration. During the performing stage, the team operates effectively towards achieving its objectives, leveraging each member’s strengths.
